Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Sri Lankan citizen
- Age Limit: 18–45 years
- Educational Qualifications:
- G.C.E. O/L: 6 passes (including Sinhala/Tamil/English, Mathematics, and two other subjects) in one sitting
- G.C.E. A/L: Passed all subjects (except General Test) in one sitting (or 3 subjects under the old syllabus)
- Professional Qualification:
- National/Higher National Diploma (NVQ Level 5/6) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics (recognized by TVEC)
- Experience:
- 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized technical institute OR relevant practical experience
Selection Process:
- Written Examination (General Knowledge & Intelligence Test)
- Final selection based on merit (Public Service Commission rules apply for tie-breakers)
Service Conditions:
- Must pass First Efficiency Bar Exam within 3 years of appointment
- Language Proficiency: Must achieve required official language proficiency during probation
