The Department of Examinations has officially revealed the schedule for the 2025 GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination. According to the latest announcement, the exams will run from November to December 2025, providing students with a clear timeline to prepare effectively.
2025 A/L Exam Schedule Confirmed
Commissioner General of Examinations, A.K.S. Indika Kumari, stated that the GCE AL 2025 exams will take place from 10th November to 5th December 2025. This announcement comes as a crucial update for thousands of students awaiting their exam timetable.
Application Deadline Approaching
The department has already begun accepting applications for the 2025 A/L exams, and the submission window will close on 21st July 2025. Students who haven’t registered yet are urged to complete the process before the deadline to avoid last-minute complications.
2025 O/L Exams Scheduled for 2026
In the same briefing, the Commissioner General also shared that the 2025 GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination will be held in February 2026, a slight shift from previous years. This update ensures students and educators can plan their academic schedules accordingly.
