Key Qualifications:
- Education:
- GCE O/L with Credit passes in English and Mathematics.
- Preference for A/L passes (3 subjects).
- Age:
- 18–30 years (General); Below 45 years (Ex-Servicemen/Ex-STF Personnel).
- Physical Requirements:
- Minimum height: Male 66″ | Female 64″.
- Must pass medical and fitness tests.
- Language:
- Fluency in spoken English.
- Additional for Ex-Servicemen:
- Ex-servicemen clearance certificate (retired/resigned below sergeant rank).
Training Program:
- Stage 1 (6 weeks):
- Residential ICAO STP 123 training at CATC, Ratmalana.
- Stage 2 (6 weeks):
- Practical training at BIA (residential).
- On-the-Job Training (12 months):
- Deployment at BIA with monthly allowance.
- Mandatory continuation classes (4/month).
- Preparation for AVSEC Screener Certification.
