The Sustainable Development Council of Sri Lanka (SDCSL), functioning under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, is inviting applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Sustainable Development Officer.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in one of the following fields:

Computer Science / Information Technology (IT)
Natural Science
Sociology
Economics
Management

Other Requirements

Age Limit: Between 22 and 45 years.
Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
Health: Excellent physical and mental health.
Character: Must possess exemplary moral character.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English will be considered an added advantage.

Salary and Compensation

Salary Scale: MA – 53,940 – 10X800 – 11X1190 – 10X1320 – 5X1350 – 94,980
Allowances: Cost of Living Allowance will be provided.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinating resources and financial facilities for sustainable development.
Facilitating communication, consultation, data monitoring, and report preparation.
Gathering, analyzing, reporting, and monitoring data/information to assist senior management tasks.

Selection Process

Selection will be carried out via a structured interview conducted by a board appointed by the appointing authority.
