01. Vacancies

• Drivers: 450 (425 Males / 25 Females)
• Conductors: 300 (275 Males / 25 Females)

02. Salary & Benefits

• Basic Monthly Allowance:
  • Driver: LKR 38,387 + LKR 17,800 (Cost of Living Allowance)
  • Conductor: LKR 37,715 + LKR 17,800 (Cost of Living Allowance)
• Additional Benefits:
  • Overtime pay, incentives, and EPF/ETF contributions (8% employer, 12% EPF + 3% ETF by employee).
  • Free travel pass within 30 km of the workstation.

Eligibility Criteria

01. For Drivers :

• Education: G.C.E. O/L with 6 subjects (2 credits max in 2 sittings).
• Age: 21–45 years.
• License: Valid heavy vehicle license (3+ years old).
• Physical: Minimum 45 kg weight, 5 ft height, physically fit.
• Experience: Preferred for passenger transport roles.

02. For Conductors :

• Education: G.C.E. O/L with 6 subjects (including Math & Mother Tongue; 2 credits max in 2 sittings).
• Age: 18–45 years.
• Physical: Minimum 41 kg weight, 5 ft height, physically fit.
• License: Conductor license (preferred).

Selection Process

• Application Submission: By registered post to SLTB HQ (Colombo) before 31.07.2025.
• Interview: Original certificates required.
• Training/Tests:
  • Drivers: Trade test + vocational training by SLTB.
  • Conductors: Vocational training by SLTB.
