False Alert on GCE OL Results 2025 – Official Clarification
The Department of Examinations (doenets) Sri Lanka has not issued any official statement regarding the release date of the March 2025 GCE Ordinary Level (OL) exam results.
The Ministry of Education has warned the public about false rumors circulating on social media, claiming that the 2024 (2025) GCE OL results will be released at midnight on 21st March.
In an official statement, the Ministry confirmed:
- The Examinations Department has not scheduled the results for release today.
- The viral social media posts are misleading and untrue.
